Ring die is the most important part of a pellet mill. It has direct impact on electricity, capacity and quality of pelleting. The key when choose ring die is the proper floccilation and its roughness. When the new ring die put into working, check the production capacity and quality, if it does not work, it indicates that the ring die is not suitable for products.
The production capacity and quality mainly affect by the design of ring die. Except the thickness, the specification of extruded hole should also be considered, such as: import taper hole, depth of taper hole, extrude hole length of taper hole, angle and depth of export taper hole.
The feed toughness will increase if add the mositure and hot steam. For the given ring die, the smaller the granulated feed is, the more hardness of the granule is. Ensure the ring die is suitable for the produced granulated feed.
